Walau gue gak baca buku hebohnya si Stephanie Meyer ini, tapi tetep dong, gue mau nonton filmnya 
Hari ini rencananya, genk CG! dan SPICE! bakal rame2 nonton New Moon di bioskop deket kantor. Tadi pagi udah ada perwakilan dari kami yang ngantriin tiketnya, buat antisipasi ngantri yang berjubel. Semoga nanti malam menyenangkan! I can’t wait to see Taylor Lautner!!!

I am back from a much needed time and I gotta tell you I feel like I’m right where I am supposed to be. For the first time in a long time I took some time for myself and I can’t tell you how much that meant to my mind body and soul. Of course, deadlines and mags still running most of my time, but so many things happen too. I become a speaker (again) in a roadshow with CG! and a brand of a beauty product. I realized how much the teens could really annoying, haha..
American Idol is finally over, and David Cook wins it. I crushed over MJ, one of the finalist, but he was voted off, so sad 
David Archuleta was in the final two with Cook, but Cook really deserves it all, I’m glad and happy
Many great movies are comin’ our way. I’ve watched Iron Man, Narnia’s Prince Caspian and Indiana Jones, all of them are good, very recommended. I’m interested watching Speed Racer also, but somehow Rain makes me lose some interest. I dunno. Maybe because of the shampoo commercial thing and the clients, haha.. no offense, Rain! Maybe I’ll catch you up on the DVD. I also can’t wait for Kung Fu Panda and Batman of course, also The Incredible Hulk and Sex And The City The Movie, one at a time. Summer movies are good!

The actor Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday afternoon in an apartment in Manhattan, according to the New York City police. Some signs pointed to an accidental overdose or a suicide, although no note was found, police sources said. Mr. Ledger was 28.
At 3:31 p.m., according to the police, a masseuse arrived at the fourth-floor apartment of the building, at 421 Broome Street, between Crosby and Lafayette Streets in SoHo, for an appointment with Mr. Ledger. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of the bedroom Mr. Ledger was in. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger naked and unconscious on a bed, with sleeping pills — both prescription medication and nonprescription — on a night table. They attempted to revive him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities. As the news reports spread quickly, throngs of people gathered in the neighborhood.
Mr. Ledger’s first Hollywood film was the teenage romantic comedy “10 Things I Hate About You” (1999). He later appeared in romantic-hero roles in films like “A Knight’s Tale” (2001) and “Casanova” (2005).
But the role for which Mr. Ledger was probably best known by American audiences was in “Brokeback Mountain” (2005). The film, based on a short story by Annie Proulx about two cowboys who fall in love, won critical acclaim. Reviewing the film in The New York Times, the critic Stephen Holden wrote, “Mr. Ledger magically and mysteriously disappears beneath the skin of his lean, sinewy character. It is a great screen performance, as good as the best of Marlon Brando and Sean Penn.” Mr. Ledger was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor in January 2006. (His death came on the same day that the 2007 Oscar nominations were announced.)
Mr. Ledger met the actress Michelle Williams while filming ‘’Brokeback Mountain.” They became romantically involved and moved to Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, where their comings and goings were widely noted by the celebrity press. They had a daughter, Matilda Rose, who was born on Oct. 28, 2005. The couple separated last year.
Mr. Ledger had been cast as the Joker in the latest Batman installment, “The Dark Knight,” set to be released this summer. Hmm… I think it’s going to be really scary watching him there.

Awalnya sih gue biasa aja pas dapet fwd-an undangan screening film baru ini. Yang bikin gue kaget (sekaligus ngakak) adalah pas baca nama tokohnya! Coba aja nih baca synopsis-nya ya, hihihihiii…
Synopsis
Andy Hanson (tuh kaaaaan, huahahahaha… ini mah laki gue dong! hahahaha..), seorang pebisnis yang sedang membutuhkan uang. Ia meyakinkan adiknya Hank untuk merampok took perhiasan milik orang tuanya dan mereka akan membagi dua uang tersebut. Hank, menyewa seorang teman untuk membantu perampokan tersebut. Pada saat sedang menjalankannya, rencananya pun berubah kacau ketika temannya tersebut terbunuh dan Ibunya Andy dan Hank terluka parah. Hank dan Andy, bersama dengan istrinya Andy, Gina (nama gue Wulan, bukan Gina, hihihi..), sekarang harus berhadapan dengan konsekuensi dari kejahatan yang mereka lakukan karena ayah mereka bersumpah untuk membalas dendam terhadap perampok-perampok tersebut, yaitu anak-anaknya sendiri.

Setelah sempet kecewa karena Heroes season 2 udah abis episode-nya, Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty dan Prison Break blom ada kelanjutannya lagi, gue jadi tertarik buat mencoba nonton serial baru yang katanya lagi happening banget di Amerika sana. Awalnya sih sempet kurang tertakir, pikir gue, palingan juga just another teen serial gitu. Tapi ternyata setelah ditonton, adiktif juga. Membuat gue bela2in nonton walau cuma 1 episode sebelum tidur.
Ceritanya sih tentang teens di NY Upper East Side yang asli, tajir2 bener. Ada yang bokapnya punya hotel, ada yang ibunya fashion designer, ada yg di jadi kapten di angkatan laut, macem2 lah. Singkatnya mereka ini anak2 dari NY socialite gitu deh. Ada konflik, cerita cinta, persahabatan, miskin dan kaya, dll. Lebih jelas dan detilnya, mending nonton sendiri aja ya..
Hhhhh….setelah tahun lalu kelewatan nonton gara2 sibuk banget, tahun ini gue mau bela2in nonton ah! Walau cuma 1 atau 2 judul film, isoke. Tadi pas makan siang, gue dan temen2 akhirnya nyempetin beli tiket film yang sepertinya lumayan menarik. Itu juga cuma bisa nonton saat weekend atau malam hari sepulang kantor. Yang sebenernya gue tunggu itu film berjudul Across The Universe, sebuah film drama/music yang ada lagu2 The Beatles-nya. Hmmm…tapi pas dilihat, jadwal nontonnya gak cocok banget. Dia cuma 2x diputer, itupun malem banget. I think I would pass. Mudah2an gak lama terbit DVD-nya ya..
Ada lagi yang sebenernya menarik: Persepolis. Film animasi ini menang Jury Prize di Cannes Film Festival 2007. Tapi lagi2 waktunya gak cocok. Hiks. Film closing-nya juga menarik, judulnya Chants of Lotus (Perempuan Punya Cerita). Film ini sekilas tipe2nya seperti film Berbagi Suami. Yang bikin tertarik sih cast-nya, ada si SarSeh, my ex boss. Tapi sayang tiketnya udah sold out di semua ticket box. Bulan depan sih ada di bioskop. Mudah2an bisa nonton deh..
Akhirnya setelah mikir2, gue pun membeli 3 tiket nonton: The Fall, A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints, dan The Namesake. Mudah2an beneran bisa nonton yaaaa, amin!
